Privacy Policy

Effective date: 2026-10-28. This policy explains what data ReshapeX handles. Short version: the Chrome extension keeps your settings on your computer, has no servers and no analytics, and sends nothing to us.

1. The Chrome extension

• Your settings (layout, theme, icons, accent, font choice and similar) are saved with Chrome's extension storage on your computer. If you turn on Sync, Chrome copies them to your Google account through Chrome Sync. That copy is handled by Google under Google's privacy policy.
• Your license is stored in the same extension storage. It is checked on your computer, and it is not sent to us when you use the extension.
• The extension does not collect analytics, usage statistics, crash reports or the content of X pages. It does not read or send your posts, messages or account details.
• The outside requests the extension makes are to load fonts (the font catalogue from api.fontsource.org and font files from cdn.jsdelivr.net), which receive your IP address as any website would, and one request to our server when you activate a key. That request sends the short key and receives your signed license. It sends nothing else, and it happens only when you activate.

2. This website

• The pages load fonts from Google Fonts. Google receives your IP address and the request, under Google's privacy policy.
• The free tools run entirely in your browser. The text, images and numbers you enter stay on your device. We do not send them anywhere.
• We do not use advertising trackers, analytics or third-party tracking pixels on this website.

3. Buying a license

When you press a buy button, the website asks our server to start a checkout. The payment page is run by Dodo Payments, which collects your payment and contact details under its own privacy policy. We receive confirmation of the payment and the details we need to issue a license.

Our server stores: a random reference for the purchase, the price tier, the seat number, the status (pending or paid), your license key, the email address you gave at checkout, the Dodo payment ID and the time we emailed your key. We do not store card numbers. Pending checkouts are removed after they expire.

We email your license key to the address you gave at checkout, through our email provider, Resend. That email is the only message we send about your purchase.

4. Who we share data with

The use of information in ReshapeX adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use the data described on this page only to provide ReshapeX's single purpose: restyling x.com for you and keeping your license valid.

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with the service providers needed to run ReshapeX: Dodo Payments for payments, Resend for sending your license email, Cloudflare for hosting and the server, and Google and the font services for fonts. Each of them handles data under its own policy.

5. How long we keep data

Settings stay on your computer until you clear them or remove the extension. Purchase records are kept so we can issue and support your license.

6. Your choices

You can clear ReshapeX's settings or remove the extension at any time. That deletes your settings from your computer. To ask about a purchase record, write to heysharad@proton.me.

7. Children

ReshapeX is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

8. Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change, and the date at the top will show the latest version.
